GaAs Schottky Diode Products
Teratech Components manufactures a wide range of GaAs millimetre wave and sub-millimetre wave air-bridged Schottky diodes for applications from 75 GHz to 1 THz. Although we have a range of standard products, we are keen to work with our customers in order to ensure the very best product for each application; we can modify our diode structures to suit your requirements and can fabricate diodes to customer designs. Teratech Components is able to fabricate high-frequency filter technology based on metallised quartz or aluminium-nitride. We will support your assembly needs by offering advice in handling high-frequency components as well as by offering contract assembly.
Standard Diode Design
AP1 Series: Anti-parallel mixer diodes
Designed for sub-harmonic mixer and high order harmonic mixers from 75 to 400 GHz
Teratech has a range of junction capacitance values from 1 to 5 fF to suit your application. These diodes offer ultra low parasitic capacitance and series resistance to give the ultimate mixer performance.
AS3 Series: Anti-series varactors ~ 150 to 200 GHz
Designed for frequency doublers from 150 to 220 GHz
The AS3 series of varactor diodes are designed for applications in frequency doublers multiplying frequencies in the range 150 to 220 GHz. A transfer substrate process is available which replaces the underlying GaAs substrate with aluminium-nitride in order to improve power handling. These diodes are available with a range of junction capacitance values from 30 to 50 fF.
